Terms of Service
KOKKOK GARDEN Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between KOKKOK Garden (hereinafter "Company") and users in relation to the use of services provided by the Company's online store at www.kokkokgarden.com (hereinafter "Store").
Article 2 (Definitions)
① "Store" refers to the virtual marketplace established by the Company using information and communication facilities to enable users to transact goods or services (hereinafter "Products").
② "User" refers to both Members and Non-Members who access the Store and use the services provided.
③ "Member" refers to a person who has registered with the Store and may continuously use the Store's services.
④ "Non-Member" refers to a person who uses the Store's services without registering for membership.
Article 3 (Posting, Explanation, and Amendment of Terms)
① The Store shall display these Terms along with the company name, representative's name, business address (including address for consumer complaint processing), phone number, fax number, email address, business registration number, mail-order business registration number, and personal information protection officer in a manner easily accessible to users on the Store's main page.
② The Store may amend these Terms within the bounds permitted by the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms, the Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Electronic Commerce, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, the Digital Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Door-to-Door Sales Act, the Framework Act on Consumers, and other relevant laws.
③ When the Store amends these Terms, it shall post a notice on the Store's main page for at least 7 days before the effective date, specifying the effective date and reasons for the amendment. For changes disadvantageous to users, a minimum 30-day advance notice period shall be provided.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
① The Store performs the following:
1. Providing information about Products and concluding purchase contracts
2. Delivering Products for which purchase contracts have been concluded
3. Other tasks as determined by the Store
② The Store may change the content of Products to be provided under future contracts due to reasons such as product sell-outs or changes in technical specifications.
Article 5 (Service Interruption)
① The Store may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication facilities, disconnection of communications, or similar reasons.
② The Store shall compensate users or third parties for damages caused by temporary service interruption, unless the Store proves absence of intent or negligence.
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
① Users apply for membership by filling out membership information in the form prescribed by the Store and indicating their agreement to these Terms.
② The Store shall register the applicant as a Member unless the applicant falls under any of the following:
1. The applicant has previously lost membership under Article 7, Paragraph 3
2. The registration information contains false, omitted, or erroneous entries
3. Registration would significantly impair the Store's technical operations
Article 7 (Membership Withdrawal and Disqualification)
① Members may request withdrawal from the Store at any time, and the Store shall process the withdrawal immediately.
② The Store may restrict or suspend membership if a Member:
1. Registered false information
2. Fails to pay debts owed in connection with purchases or Store usage by the due date
3. Interferes with others' use of the Store or misappropriates their information
4. Uses the Store to engage in activities prohibited by law or these Terms
Article 8 (Purchase Application)
Users shall apply for purchases through the following procedures on the Store:
1. Search and selection of Products
2. Entry of recipient's name, address, phone number, and email
3. Confirmation of Terms, services with limited withdrawal rights, and delivery charges
4. Agreement to these Terms and confirmation of the above
5. Submission of purchase application and confirmation
6. Selection of payment method
Article 9 (Payment Methods)
Payment for Products purchased through the Store may be made by any of the following available methods:
1. Credit card payment
2. Real-time bank transfer
3. Virtual account deposit
4. Easy payment services (Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, Toss Pay, etc.)
5. Other payment methods additionally designated by the Store
Article 10 (Delivery)
① Unless otherwise agreed, the Store shall take necessary measures such as custom manufacturing and packaging to deliver Products within 7 days from the date the User places an order.
② The Store shall specify the delivery method, delivery cost bearer, and delivery period for each method.
Article 11 (Withdrawal of Subscription)
① Users who have concluded a purchase contract may withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date they received the written contract details (or from the date they received the Products, if later).
② Users cannot return or exchange Products in the following cases:
1. Products lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the User (except where packaging was opened to verify contents)
2. Products whose value has significantly decreased due to use or partial consumption
3. Products whose value has significantly decreased over time, making resale difficult
4. Original packaging of reproducible products has been damaged
5. Custom-made products where withdrawal would cause irrecoverable damage to the seller, with prior notice and written consent
Article 12 (Effects of Subscription Withdrawal)
① The Store shall refund the price of returned Products within 3 business days of receiving them. Late refunds shall incur delay interest as prescribed by the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
② For credit card or electronic currency payments, the Store shall promptly request the payment provider to suspend or cancel the billing.
③ Return shipping costs are borne by the User, except when Products differ from the displayed or advertised content or the contract terms.
Article 13 (Privacy Protection)
① The Store collects the minimum personal information necessary for service provision.
② The Store obtains consent after notifying the User of the purpose when collecting and using personal information.
③ Collected personal information shall not be used beyond its stated purpose. New purposes or provision to third parties require additional consent.
④ Users may request access to and correction of their personal information at any time.
⑤ The Company's Privacy Policy governs the protection and use of personal information.
Article 14 (Obligations of the Store)
① The Store shall not engage in activities prohibited by law or these Terms, and shall do its best to provide Products continuously and reliably.
② The Store shall maintain security systems to protect Users' personal information (including credit information).
Article 15 (Obligations of Members)
Members shall not:
1. Register false information
2. Misappropriate others' information
3. Alter information posted on the Store
4. Transmit unauthorized information (including computer programs)
5. Infringe the intellectual property rights of the Store or third parties
6. Damage the reputation of or interfere with the business of the Store or third parties
7. Post obscene, violent, or otherwise objectionable content
Article 16 (Dispute Resolution)
① The Store shall establish and operate a compensation processing system for legitimate complaints from Users.
② Disputes between the Store and Users related to e-commerce may be submitted to a dispute resolution body commissioned by the Fair Trade Commission or the relevant mayor/governor.
③ Lawsuits regarding e-commerce disputes shall be filed with the district court having jurisdiction over the User's address. Korean law shall apply.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms shall be effective from April 1, 2026.
